Åva Verandan takes place for 12 days this summer. Our dishes follow the rhythm of the seasons, honest cooking where Nordic simplicity meets German craftsmanship. Working closely with local producers, we turn familiar ingredients into memorable experiences.
By the outer islands.
Åva Bygården is located in the idyllic village of Åva in the municipality of Brändö. Reach us by ferry from Osnäs (Finland) or via the scenic Route from mainland Åland. The journey is part of the experience.
Our story behind the popup
Anna Hoffmann grew up between Germany and the Aland archipelago, immersed in two cultures. This pop up is a place of bringing both worlds together through food.
